My brother and his wife started a business to help supplement their passion for music festivals and to maybe make some money while they are at it. They sell some beautiful, one-of-a-kind, hand-made parasols. We threw some names around and I liked “SHADE” best. It was simple, to-the-point and I thought it would look great on a t-shirt! So when thinking of the logo, I wanted something that would be attractive to the hippy festival crowd that was slightly retro and psychedelic and I chose colors that would stand out and ones you might find in some tie-dye prints. It also reflects a sunset color scheme…tying in the parasol’s purpose of providing “SHADE” 🙂
