Superstar DJ, producer and artist Ursula 1000 is a long-time friend and client. I’ve done a lot of projects for Ursula over the years. On this particular project (actually my first logo for him) he showed me a logo from a record sleeve from the early 80’s and we used that as the template for this new logo for 2015 (and new album “Voyeur”). The original inspiration was just the script type so when it came time to design the “1000”, I wanted to do something that complemented the script. It just didn’t look as cohesive in all script. So since the new cover design dealt with basic shapes, I used that direction for the “1000”.
